My name is Lori Damiano and I like to make things by hand.  Some things I make with my hands are paintings, animations, zines, films, quilts, gardens, miniature sweaters, and pies.  I earned a BA in film/video from UCSD and an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts.  I am the Animation Department Chairperson at the California State Summer School for the Arts.  I have a monthly column called ‘The Learnings of’ in The Skateboard Mag. I also volunteer as the Membership Coordinator for the Independent Publishing Resource Center in Portland, Oregon. I am currently looking for new freelance projects.
